Blood, Sweat, and Tears (and who knows what else)

How many times have you found yourself rolling around on the floor after a WOD? Either you are in pain or just too exhausted to move or, a combination of both.
Or how about those warm-ups where you are lying face-down stretching some region of your body you can only reach if your face is smashed to the mat.

No one talks about it, but take a minute and just think about what is on that floor.

I have personally contributed sweat, blood and tears (well, maybe not tears but I've thought about it). If you multiply five classes a day times an average of 15 people times 365 days a year, that is a lot of bodily fluids. Now factor in all the crap we carry in on our shoes as we run in and out during a Wod and OMG, it is like lying on the floor of a gas station restroom that hasn't been cleaned for a month.

But the odd thing? I can't wait for the next time that I can fall down to that floor.

Yup, I'm a Crossfitter.
