Is CrossFit Only For Maniacs?

From a Huffington Post Contributor:  "Just to keep me on my toes, I'm going to resist the urge to use the term "audacious radical fitness zealots" when referring to CrossFit, a strength and conditioning program for what I would call the "over-the-top" athlete." Read the entire article here.

In my opinion, the author hasn't done her research thoroughly and then, as a result, realized that all of the exercises and workouts are totally scalable and adaptable to every person, young and old.

  2. I am a personal trainer and use cross fit workouts for all of my clients. They are a wide range of ages, shapes, weights and complex personalities. I just adapt the cross fit regime to fit their individual needs. I must admit that for myself it can be a grueling, fast paced workout, bit I think that everyone has a starting point and I impress upon my clients to give everything a try. I love to see the look of self satisfaction mixed with personal triumph as they get stronger and more fit every month. I like your blog and have bookmarked it to share with my clients :)

  3. Thank you Lauren! I tell my skeptical friends all the time "anybody can do it", and, there is no feeling like it when you are done.
