An Explanation of Why Reebok's Crossfit Gear is at a Higher Price Point.

I found this article, from Women's Wear Daily, trying to explain why the new Reebok Crossfitting Apparel is on the pricier side. Interesting explanation although I don't quite get the thought process behind it. Crossfit has evolved from the dust at Aromas and garage gyms, etc... Trying to brand their Crossfit products as higher end designer workout gear seems to go against everything Crossfit is?

From the article: "Currently, the merchandise is only being sold online but starting in the spring season it will be added at high-end specialty stores such as Nordstrom, REI, Sports Chalet and other retailers that “emphasize customer service,” he said."
